The hotel is very beautiful and clean, the rooms are gorgeous. The beds are super comfortable and every detail is taken care of. There is even a bar/restaurant. Staff is nice and helpful.
Wish I could have stayed longer had service of a hotel 4 times its price. Gorgeous breakfast had it early for me too. Staff couldn't do enough.

The rooms were just amazing, so so nice and very clean. The breakfast was lovely... I had a full Irish and my girlfriend had some pancakes, definitely filled my expectations! We could see Croagh Patrick from the door at the hotel.

What a nice Hotel. I recently stayed in this hotel for 3 nights with my Wife and Baby, And i have to say we really enjoyed it, the hotel is so clean and the grounds and views are breath takeing, Tom the owner of this hotel i gathered he was the owner after half an hour service in the bar! He made me and my family feel very welcome and comfortable at his Hotel. I needed a taxi into town and the receptionest Blone girl i didint get her name but she arranged me my taxi into town and made sure i had all the numbers of taxis to get back as i woulnt be familiar with the taxi service in westport, we also needed towls and toilet roll for our room and the same girl made sure she deliverd them to our room herself promtly,An asset to this hotel she is.Staff go above and beyond for you... Overall a great clean and comfortable experience. We will be back.

Outstanding! We stayed here for one night and made a last minute booking. We had wet camping gear and our bikes which we were reluctant to leave outside on the car. Sarah the receptionist went above and beyond and organised for us to leave our bikes inside and even found a clothes horse to hang the tent to dry it out a bit. The room was a generous size and very warm, clean and modern. We ate in the hotel bar and the food was great and our waitress Bridie was excellent. Overall, we had a brilliant stay at the hotel and would highly recommend it. The staff truly went above and beyond and we felt so welcomed. We will definitely be back again!
Lovely hotel. We booked to stay very last minute. From the initial call to check in the hospitality extended was excellent. Sarah on the front desk very friendly and welcoming. Our room was very clean and spacious, a great nite sleep was had. We ate in the bar service was quick and food very tasty. With the new covid restrictions breakfast was served to the table, poached eggs and bacon cooked perfectly. I loved the warmth and old school hospitality we received. I wish the staff and management all the best at this tough time for the hospitality sector.

My friend left her passport behind in her room. We were so impressed (and relieved) by the staff response. They located her passport, cards and money, secured her purse and kept it safe until we could return to Westport to retrieve them.
stayed for 2 days and cannot say enough about the hotel and staff,everything was top notch,as a single traveller the room i was given was large and roomy and the bed very comfortable and after a strenuous hike up Croagh Patrick it was fantastic to get back to the hotel and have a hot relaxing bath,overall i'd definitely stay here again and have already recommended the hotel to family and friends

It was a lovely time in Westport Country Lodge. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The beef stew was fantastic and the location is wonderful. We will come back on our next visit to Ireland.

Excellent peaceful location just two miles outside Westport. Yet the hotel has big city standards. Enjoyed walking through the local working villages. Not least of all Aughagower with its historic monuments and two bars.

The perfect mix between cozy country lodge with the luxury of a hotel. Check in was so easy. The room was hotel standard with just some small superficial maintenance issues (e.g. damage to headboard and mould on a couple of pages of the directory). The location was perfect, it felt so quiet but was really close to town. The grounds and drive were fantastic, along with the view from our room! However, the pub may benefit from a more boutique feel like the foyer. More tables just for two, maybe some booths and better lighting? It definitely felt like more than 3 stars overall though! Staff were perfectly friendly and engaging.

I am glad I stayed here rather than in Westport town. The hotel is surrounded by beauty and is truly a retreat from my busy work life. Breakfast was lovely and I especially loved the view from large windows in the dining room every morning. I had drinks and dinner in the bar area and the service, food, and prices were great. I took walks every day on the old country road that passes through the property. I was here researching my ancestry and by staying here I got a good sense of how it must have been to grow up in the countryside of Mayo, as so many of my ancestors did (although I stayed in much more comfort!). A peat fire was lit in the lobby every day and the scent makes it feel like you’re in an Irish home. I’ll be back and will recommend all of my cousins to choose this hotel on their trips to Ireland.
Absolutely enjoyed our stay. Perfect location for us in lovely quiet countryside and yet not too far away from the stunning Mayo visitor attractions .. Lovely food and very helpful and friendly staff..would highly recommend this hotel.

Very relaxing place to stay, with just a 5-10 minute drive into Westport. Nice fire to welcome us in Reception. Room comfortable and nicely finished bathroom with beautiful view of countryside, Food excellent in the informal bar area and all the staff very helpful. FIrst morning we had full Irish breakfast, but enjoyed a tailor made breakfast more the next day. Dining room was a bit chilly in the morning. Only other suggestion is to provide some coasters in the room to avoid marking the lovely wood furniture. Would love to come back.
I had a wonderful stay here. The hotel is underrated in my eye by the 3 Stars. The staff couldn't have been more polite and helpful. The room was excellent. Perfectly clean and generously sized. The bathroom was fantastic. As I was there for the wedding of Adam and Joanna, I got to taste lots of food - by far the best wedding meal I've ever had. Gorgeous scones after the ceremony, finger foods that night and a great breakfast. Thanks a million. I'd very happily stay again. Internet was also great. Excellent value, excellent hotel.

Absolutely loved our stay, here. Reception staff were more than helpful to my wife and I especially during an emergency . We can't thank them enough. This is our second holiday in this hotel . Such a relaxing break for us. Everyone was so friendly. We will be returning again in the future.
We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is a very high standard, in a great location. The staff, especially Maraid on Reception, really went out of their way to make us feel welcome, and no request was too much trouble.
Apart from the mix-up concerning the booking price everything was very pleasant. All staff were very friendly at all times. I would recommend that a taxi list and pricing were available/on display at reception to enable trips into Westport.
It's a beautiful, quiet place and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Only minor things weren't perfect: a very load fan in the bathroom, the spot-light iluminating the building making the room to bright for sleeping with open curtains, the fountain in front of the house not working (water brownish), no refrigarator in the room
We had a great stay at the hotel. The hotel itself, the area and the view was stunning. We've got a great big and clean room.
My Duck dinner on the Saturday night was served with a sheet of plastic between the Duck and the stuffing, I was offered a new meal which I declined.

Very high praise is due to Lorna (reception) who was so kind, efficient and helpful. She really is a great asset to the hotel. Also to the waitresses on duty at breakfast time, who were very friendly. Unfortunately, one of the 3 rooms we booked had an overpowering smell of damp. I should have mentioned it & I'm sure the hotel would have accommodated a different room, however we didn't complain so the staff didn't know there was a problem. Having said that, I would have thought this would have been noticed by the cleaning staff?
We came for a few days, intending to climb croagh patrick. The weather was too bad to get far but we had a great few days anyway. The staff were lovely & so friendly. The hotel was so comfortable & welcoming - we had a ball & plan to return, hopefully when the weather is better

It was all good. Nothing negative to note. The room was lovely. Staff seemed friendly. One thing of note was I thought the breakfast was really good - good quality, hot, fresh and made to order. We definitely noted it. We only stayed one night - we missed dinner as we were late - past 9 - staff were friendly and gave us some good recommendations in Westport. Would see it all as a positive experience
Enjoyed our stay Could do with removing chairs at top of stairs as people stayed there after leaving the bar and were quite drunk and loud at 1.30 in the morning, one lady came out of her room and loudly asked them to leave but her request fell on deaf & drunk ears, not good.

Nice quiet hotel with very friendly staff. Only thing was our room was a bit stuffy due to windows that could not open so was quiet warm even with heater off. Also plug in sink didn't work. Other than that our stay was very good:)
A great welcome and wonderful recommendations from the reception staff on where to eat in Westport in the evening and the best route to Kylemore Abbey in the morning. The rooms was very spacious and the service at the bar in the evening and over breakfast was informal and made us feel very much at home

I reserved a triple, but when i went to check in, the person behind the desk noticed thewre was 4 of us. She said a triple would be uncomfortable for 4, and then found us a bigger room to stay in. Much appreciated since i didn't see a bigger one offered online.

Having stayed at many hotels all over the world I can say this was a hidden gem. Great rooms, wonderful food and excellent service by the staff. I got my money's worth.
